Craziest bird.
The journey is 365 days.
The purpose is to be reminded that the most important things in life are often the most simple.
My hope is to get back to basics and remember all my blessings; to never be at a loss of things to be thankful for; to sometimes not need words. This is my journal of these things.

Day 140
Jilly made bird feeders with Grandma! We hung them up before the snow started, but I couldn't get a good picture because Jilly was absolutely thrilled that they were "shwinging high!!!!" She just kept batting them around like a kitty. Silly Jilly. Hope the birds find them!

Day 139
Sometimes we have choc-o-late-y milk parties....just for fun!
Jillian loves Mickey Mouse and in her movie they have a "chocolatey milk party." She has been talking about it non-stop for days now, so we decided to have one.

Day 138
Don't you just hate it when you are enjoying your bubble bath and all of a sudden you have to go to the bathroom?! ;)
Jillian does.

Day 136
TWO years ago today, we were at the lovely Mt. Bachelor for our "babymoon."
One last vacation where the packing was light, the drive non-stop, and the trip was easy.

Day 132
In response to Craig's comment that we were out of soups in the freezer:
That would be creamy broccoli and cauliflower soup, campfire soup with sausage, hearty lentil soup, broccoli soup with leeks and thyme, roasted root vegetable soup, chili, and in the pot: cabbage soup.
Take that! There's soup in freezer now.

Day 131
Jilly has been coveting the heart balloons at our local grocery store since they went up a couple weeks ago. Every time we go, all I hear about is "hot boons" (heart balloons). Ren hot boon. Peet hot boon. Purpa hot boons! (Red, pink and purple for those of you who don't speak Jilly)
Daddy brought her one home for Valentine's Day. She was thrilled and immediately started jumping up and down screaming "HOT BOON!! HAPPY, HAPPY!!!!"
Awww, the simple joys in life. May it be so for everyone.
Happy Valentine's Day.

JILLY BEAN'S BELLY!!!
Hey, how many of you thought this was my tummy?!?!?!?! Ha. No way is my stomach that small.

Day 128
I didn't have the heart to scold her for using the enitre travel box of wipes....after all, she was "cleaning."

Day 127
The "stroller mob" hit the park today. Three of us made the trek where the babies got cold and cranky. Cousins Evie and Elias got to hang out though!
(Thanks for posting this pic Niin....)

Day 124
When you help Grandma clean her basement, you find all kinds of really cool things. Some things, like old Mardi Gras beads, can keep you occupied for well over an hour while Grandma and Mommy do other things....like the cleaning.

Day 123
Because you should be able to watch Mickey Mouse on EVERY SINGLE electronic device you own.
(yes, that's the ipod)

Day 119
Well, they are far from beautiful (I wish they looked like Moonstruck Chocolates), but they sure are delicious. It's my first attempt at homemade truffles. Yum, yum!

Day 118
Nothing beats a mile and a half walk to the park in 34 degree weather. Although, that was NOTHING compared to the mile and a half walk back home....ALL uphill.
So, I guess today I am thankful for FREE workouts! Seriously, who needs a gym membership?!
