Welcome to my humble attempts at documenting the simplicities of my Real Life.

The journey is 365 days.

The purpose is to be reminded that the most important things in life are often the most simple.

My hope is to get back to basics and remember all my blessings; to never be at a loss of things to be thankful for; to sometimes not need words. This is my journal of these things.

Day 49

When family stories, traditions, and heirlooms are passed down we have to get in lots of laughs!

This black box is a 77 year old Singer sewing machine that has been passed down since my Great Grandma.

  1. Not to mention that this model of sewing machine (Singer Feather Weight) is highly sought after by quilters. And it sells for up to $600.00 on today's market...IF you can find one! Happy quilting :)
