Welcome to my humble attempts at documenting the simplicities of my Real Life.
The journey is 365 days.
The purpose is to be reminded that the most important things in life are often the most simple.
My hope is to get back to basics and remember all my blessings; to never be at a loss of things to be thankful for; to sometimes not need words. This is my journal of these things.

2 Project365 Day 31
When you have a child, your laundry doubles. When you have two children, it inexplicably grows by 10. The laundry is a daily chore at our house. Normally, there is at least a minute amount of grumbling involved, and after the recent camping trip, the piles have grown exponentially....lucky for you and this project, the grumbling has not. As I stare at this pile of laundry that needs to be folded, I am thankful that my family has so many clothes....and I don't mean that simplistically or arrogantly.
I know that no matter what the weather is like tomorrow, my family will be dressed in comfort. Should it happen to snow (HA!), we all have warm jackets, snow pants, boots, gloves, hats, etc. If it rains, we have raincoats, boots, and extra sets of clothing in the (likely) event we should get soaked. If my children go to a party or out to dinner, they will have clothes that are appropriate to the occasion. They have clothes that they can feel comfortable and confident in when they go to school or out in public.
So even though the clothes all eventually make it into this basket, some days faster than others, I know that the clothes, blankets, towels, and sleeping bags are all something to be thankful for.
