We visited Papa's work today to pick blackberries. The blackberries were delicous...and the trucks are really, really HUGE!
The journey is 365 days.
The purpose is to be reminded that the most important things in life are often the most simple.
My hope is to get back to basics and remember all my blessings; to never be at a loss of things to be thankful for; to sometimes not need words. This is my journal of these things.

Day 328
Jilly loves to "help" bake and cook. It's amazing how much more patience it takes on my part to have the "extra help." However, I realize the importance of her "helping me" on so many levels that I make sure she has the opportunity to do so...even if it means more work for me. In the end, we are always both so pleased (her espcially) and it makes it worth it to spend the extra time with my growing girl.
Here we are making cheesy biscuits for dinner.

Day 326
Jilly has recently become very particular about her clothing and pajamas. She will insist on wearing nothing but "stripes" (her pajamas) for days on end. This vacation, there hasn't been any exception. Today, while getting dressed, she had a meltdown when I tried to take off "stripes." However, they were so dirty that I had to put my foot down. We finally compromised that she could wear the pants while I washed the shirt.
We went out to a nice dinner with Craig's Uncle and this is the outfit that Jilly went in.

Day 324
Today we hit up a local farm for some fresh produce. The owner talked us into all sorts of things and we came home with an entire basket of goodies. The produce was SO good...especially since everything was basically picked just for us!
